Founded in 1986 with three employees and a dream of offering superior mortgage service at competitive rates to a variety of consumers, East West Mortgage now boasts a talented staff of 400, including the original three. Our diverse and seasoned staff is headquartered in the vibrant Tysons Corner, VA area of the metro-DC region. With customer satisfaction and employee retention our top priorities, we survived the turbulent housing markets over the last 19 years to be named Broker Magazine’s 7th largest mortgage broker.
Through the years we’ve built strong relationships with hundreds of banks. These relationships give us a leading-edge to offer clients the best possible rates out of 10,000 mortgage products including conventional and government loans. Our breadth of options provides us the opportunity to service any type of client, regardless of credit history, financial status or citizenship.
East West Mortgage has helped thousands of families find the right solution for their needs. We’re able to reach out to a diverse customer base by offering loan services in seven languages, with a strong focus on the Hispanic community. We’ve assisted many first-time home buyers, some who had no credit or poor credit, find the best mortgage. And, we’ve helped many clients improve their financial situation by refinancing.
In 2004, we handled more than $1.2 billion in loans. Committed to customer service, we strive to be our clients’ mortgage consultant for life. East West Mortgage has been at the forefront among the mortgage industry in recognizing the importance of the Hispanic community to the housing market. We’ve created an impressive Hispanic Division to cater to this important group. We work hard to make the goal of homeownership easier and more affordable for them. With branch offices in Silver Spring, MD, Tysons Corner, VA and Jersey City, NJ, our Hispanic Division generates most of their leads from Hispanic realtors and previous clients. We’ve taken a proactive approach to addressing the needs of a diverse nation by leveraging the power of the Internet and the convenience of the telephone. Through our Internet Division at www.ewmortage.com, we offer our customers 24/7 service via online access and our 1-800 number. We’re available when it’s most convenient for our customers in any time zone and have loan consultants on-hand to service clients in seven languages. We are one of the first mortgage brokers to offer a complete Spanish version of our website that’s informative and easy to use. And, with a few simple keystrokes, our online daily Rate Watch along with Mortgage Calculators, Instant Approval and Automated Underwriting can quickly lock you into the most competitive rate available.
Rounding out our integrated lines of business is the Branch Division. This division puts a “face” on East West Mortgage across the nation through a group of independent loan officers in 44 states. Our Branch consultants leverage East West Mortgage’s resources and processes, but generate their own leads locally through referrals and marketing. This division enables us to connect with customers who prefer face-to-face interaction while generating greater visibility and brand recognition for East West Mortgage from coast-to-coast. Building on our own entrepreneurial roots and our commitment to employee retention, we see the Branch division as an excellent growth path for some of our former in-house loan officers who want to remain part of the East West Mortgage family while building their own business.
